Damien BREGIROUX
Damien Bregiroux will be in charge of the « Materials processing and microstructure characterization » work package (WP1). Holding a PhD (2005) from the University of Limoges and an HDR (2023), he is an Associate Professor at Laboratoire de Chimie de la Matière Condensée de Paris, Sorbonne Université since 2007. His main field of expertise is the synthesis and processing of inorganic materials for energy applications, including innovative sintering processes like SPS, microwave sintering and cold sintering process, while taking account of the crystal chemistry/structure/property relationship. He led and took part in several projects involving functional ceramics for thermoelectric, piezoelectric and optical applications.
In the FunGPT project, he is the leader of the WP1 related to the elaboration of the FGPM.
Agathe COURPIED
She will contribute to the experimental work carried out within WP1, dedicated to the elaboration of piezoceramic–metal graded materials. She graduated as an engineer from ESPCI Paris – PSL, where she received research-oriented training with a focus on chemistry, physics and materials science. She is currently completing a complementary research Master 2 in Materials Chemistry at Sorbonne Université, with a focus on ceramics, surface interactions and green chemistry. Her previous internships have allowed her to work on innovative approaches for the processing and application of ceramic materials.
In the FunGPT project, she will be involved in the elaboration and characterization of piezoceramic–metal graded materials. She will continue this work as part of a PhD project in the coming years.
Arnaud Perez
He is a CNRS researcher at Laboratoire de Chimie de la Matière Condensée de Paris, Sorbonne Université since 2020. His main field of activity is the chemistry of materials for electrochemical energy storage, with research spanning from the discovery of new electrode and solid electrolyte materials for Li and Na batteries to the study of reactivity mechanisms during assembly and cycling of battery systems. In the FunGPT project, he will participate in developing the material synthesis and processing steps.
