Samuel MARGUERON

He is the Head of the Time-Frequency Department at the FEMTO-ST Institute, Full Professor (ENSMM-SUPMICROTECH). S. Margueron completed his PhD (2000–2003) at ONERA on the non-destructive testing of high-temperature aircraft engine turbine blades (SNECMA (Safran)–DGA program), using optical and ultrasonic approaches. He then carried out a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Santa Barbara. For more than fifteen years, his research focused on residual stresses and micromechanics of thin films. In 2008, he was appointed Associate Professor, and his activities expanded to lead-free lithium niobate (LN) and thin-film growth. His research has led to numerous collaborations on lithium niobate and its integration including key contribution to heterogeneous integration of LN with stainless steel (patent 2020). In 2021, he created and structured the piezoMEMS group (around twenty people), focusing on electroactive materials, their electronic interfacing, and multiphysics simulation.

In the FunGPT project, he is involved in the WP1 and WP2 related to the polarization of the FGPM pand their electrical characterization.

Florian BOUTENEL

He is an Associate Professor at SUPMICROTECH and in the Applied Mechanics Department of FEMTO-ST Institute. After a PhD thesis on ceramic matrix composites and a postdoc on ceramic additive manufacturing, he joined the “Materials for the ecological transition” team where his research focuses on the fiber/matrix interface of organic matrix composites reinforced with annual plant fibers.

In the FunGPT project, he is involved in the WP2 related to the mechanical characterization of the FGPM.
